Bloggers wear so many hats, our necks are aching. We do it all from writing, marketing, bookkeeping, social media, video production, photography, recipe testing, search engine optimization, site speed, analyzing data and sleeping. How can you keep track of it all?

It's so easy to get overwhelmed! I've experienced blogger burnout a couple of times in the past 12 years I've been blogging. It's rough.
One thing that has helped me is organizing my work in one place!
I used to have a big Apple Numbers spreadsheet with a master list of posts I was working on, and ones I'd posted. Then, I had a checklist for updating old blog posts somewhere else.
I had a different spreadsheet with social media post content. I had bookmarks for courses I had signed up for. In my notebook, there was a hand-written plan for the my blogging goals.
And, I had a lot just sitting in my head that I would struggle to remember (and inevitably forget) to do.
While there's still a TON of moving pieces to running a blog, using AirTable as my central place to keep track of everything has been a lifesaver!!!
It has so many features to connect your data and even integrate with other platforms, like Zapier.
I love that I can use the mobile app on my phone and iPad, so no matter what I'm doing, if an idea for a new recipe or blog post pops into my head, I can record it right away.
It took a little while to get it setup the way that would help me the most, but starting with a template saved me so much time.
The template I use is called Blog Boss Management System by Leanne Scott over at Passive Income Superstars. It comes preloaded with almost 40 tabs, built specifically for bloggers!
The tabs cover topics like:
- Blog planning
- Educational resources (all those juicy pieces of info we hear in webinars or see in a Facebook group)
- Courses you've bought
- Project planner
- List of existing blog posts (there's a cool Zapier connection you can use with your RSS feed to auto-populate this as you write new posts)
- Ideas for new blog posts
- Affiliate programs, products and tracking
- Social media
- Income and expenditures
- Email newsletters
- Guest posting
- Sponsored content
- Stats
If this sounds like something that might help you reduce the overwhelm and get more efficient in your work, then check out the Blog Boss Management System. (affiliate link)
