Why did you create this membership?

This site uses ads to generate income, which goes to pay for recipe development, ingredients and maintenance costs. This is the backbone of our site which lets us give you this for free. However, we've heard from you all that the ads can be annoying, irrelevant, and can slow down the website, which makes it difficult to just get to the recipe. We know that it can detract from the experience, but we still gotta keep the lights on. That's why we're excited to announce our membership program, so that you can support us directly and enjoy an ad-free site (along with other perks!).
