We know that many athletes prefer plant-based meals to keep them in tip-top shape. In response to that and their pledge to be climate-friendly, the 2024 Paris Olympic Games made a huge leap into plant-based offerings in the cafeteria.
Plant-based food is a whopping 60% of the options for spectators at the 2024 Paris Olympics. And, athletes are presented with 30% plant-based options to fuel their sports.
All of the curated recipes are vegan and plant-based. We've included some recipes that offer non-vegan ingredients as optional.
Some of these recipes are authentic to the country or food culture they're representing. Others are loosely inspired by the food culture of that country.
We've categorized the recipes by continent, in alphabetical order, in the same manner the official Paris Olympic Games website has all the participating countries listed.
